We know that Londoners are constantly on the move and as a result, the demand for food to go is higher than ever. We want to tackle the single use plastics from food to go and provide reusable, convenient alternatives.

In Europe, eight million tonnes of plastic are used in food and drink every year. We are minimising our contribution to plastic pollution through compostable food to go packaging and our food refill stations, allowing customers to be served with their own re-usable food containers, with our partnered retailers.

Compost Packaging

Wharf Kitchen, located in Jubilee Place, is home to seven exciting street food style retailers offering exciting food from across the globe in a vibrant market hall. Since launching in 2018, Wharf Kitchen has been single use plastic free with all retailers using compostable food-to-go packaging.
